Dear Diary,
I fear that this will be longest entry to date. I am going to tell you about something that is frequently on my mind. Possesion. The whole 'Bob thing.' Where to start...
Bob scares me ...a lot. I am a firm believer in soul possesion and evil entities. There are so many chances in life that something less than nice, okay evil, could slip in and take over. Do you doubt me, diary? Well, I shit you not! I've seen it. That is why Bob terrifies me so. I would let it go if not for the fact that I know it to be true. Let's start at Lelands behavior. At times, Leland is just, well, Leland. And then he is Bob. How is this? There are moments in life when we are weak, or we are strong. At those weak moments, we are perfect targets for hostile takeovers. Hence, Bob defeats Leland. That is why Bob says that Leland is weak. But the re are those moments in Lelands life when he refuses to let Bob takeover. I call them 'Lelands stand.' Take for instance, in FWWM, after Laura comes home and it's time for dinner, Bob is very present in Leland. I hate to recall it, but I will for your enlightment, diary. 'Leland' is very violent towards Laura. Insisting on clean hands etc., asking about lovers. Laura , of course is very frightened. She had saw her father leave the house soon after she saw Bob in her room. Laura was confused.The presence of Bob was all around. Even Sarah could sense it. Later that night, night, we see 'Lelands stand.' He has a moment of strength and feels his intense love towards his daughter. He goes to her room and expels his love for her, giving her hope. Just goes to show that people can lead lives w/entities. Think about all of the people coming out of the Black Lodge. My poor Cooper.... On the exterior, he is fine. On the inside, well we all know 'How's Annie?!' ..Shudder.. Diary, I must go before they catch on. Your faithful correspondent,
